You can set rules to award your affiliates with monthly bonuses based on their commissions, give them higher or lower commissions based on the sales they bring, or to decline the transactions if they don't achieve certain results.
To use the rules, you need to activate the “Rules” plugin.
To manage the Rules, go to:
Admin panel > Tools > Rules
On this page you can see all the rules. Each rule is displayed in a row, which shows all related information, including: date added, campaign, condition, rule and status.
Only the rules with status "active" are executed. To change the status of a rule, select the row and click the “Actions > Enable/Disable” button at the bottom of the page.
To edit an existing rule, click on the pencil icon located to the right of the row.
To add a rule, click on the “Actions > Add” button at the bottom of the page.
Select the campaign and the condition to meet for that rule to be executed. Note that conditions can be calculated on:
Commissions: based on the sum of the commissions earned by the affiliate in the selected period.
Sales amount: based on the sum of the sales amounts (revenue) reported by the affiliate in the selected period.
Conversions: based on the total number of sales/leads reported by the affiliate in the selected period.
If the "1° tier commissions only" box is checked, the calculation considers only 1° tier commissions (referred directly by the affiliate), otherwise it considers all the commissions of that affiliate (both 1° tier and multilevel commissions).
There are 3 different types of rules that can be used which are described below.
Allows you to award a bonus to affiliates who achieve a certain result during a specific period of time. The bonus can be either a fixed price or a percentage.
Examples (condition, rule):
- To affiliates who reach 300$ in revenues in 1 month, give a 5% bonus on revenues.
- To affiliates who reach 100$ in commissions in 1 month, give a 10% bonus on commissions.
- To affiliates who bring more than 3 sales in 1 month, give a 10$ bonus
It allows you to change the commissions segment to affiliates who achieve certain results during a specific period of time. These affiliates will automatically earn higher or lower commissions depending on the commissions segment assigned.
Examples (condition, rule):
- To affiliates who reach 300$ in revenues in 1 month, change segment from "default" to "premium".
- To affiliates who reach 100$ in commissions in 1 month, change segment from "all" to "premium".
- To affiliates who bring less than 3 sales in 1 month, change segment from "premium" to "default".
Allows you to approve or decline transactions to affiliates that do not achieve a certain result during a specified period of time. Useful for multilevel marketing.
Examples (condition, rule):
- To affiliates who bring less than 3 1° tier sales (direct), decline multilevel commissions.
